Presentation 1 (ok) - child surveillance
-just pretended and assumed everything to bluff people
-pretend to feel confident even if you feel like shit
Presentation 2 (success) - pink dot event
-very interesting questions formed around it
-happy presentation and slides were pink (for once)!!
-we all wore pink!!
Presentation 3 (failed) - the long tail
-class was stone-faced
-our group went out to emo during the break in class
Presentation 4 (success) - microfinance (P2P lending)
-comments like "it's really interesting"
-rush rush rush n within time limit!
Presentation 5 (failed!!!) - privacy and self-disclosure
-didn't even get to present except to say one line because lecturer deemed whole part to be irrelevant
-total stun-ness
-post-presentation trauma = forgot to upload report!
Presentation 5 really gave me an experience of a lifetime yesterday. I have never prepared so early for a presentation before, neither spent so much time researching for relevant backing points for my part.
2 nights of not sleeping + days of hard work can be summed up in 1 line: My research has found these factors to be irrelevant to our study, and we will drop them as factors.
Great, my group (and i think the class) were all stunned. OMG. Level 4 modules really make you learn.
So the worst presentation in my life...is because I didn't even get to present.
And with the report so screwed, this means I better study doubly hard for this exam. Poof.
