Just showed my mum teochew operas on Youtube. She was so fascinated, and said she will watch when she goes for her attachment next year.
Then she was complaining that her hard disk is not working and went to take and try. AND she came back with a teochew songs ktv vcd thing. OMG. Just spent one hour listening to the disc with her. Very unproductive in terms of doing my project because my full attention was with her! But it's really interesting to see what type of memories seem to be going thru her head, how her eyes gleam when she mentions certain things and explains things. :)
