Sister who is 12 years older

I just realized having a sister who is 12 years older is so different from having one close to your age.
When she worries about school and friends, you're just a baby.
When she is having o levels and a levels, you're merely fretting over why you are not growing up faster.
When she stays out in hostel, you stay home to watch tv with ah ma.
When she gets married, you worry about making friends in sec school.
When she becomes a mother, you only worry about being a girlfriend.
When she starts to work part time to take care of family, you start to wonder how to go through a full time job to earn money n build a family.
Then, she was a stranger. Before you knew it, she's out of your life. Several memorable moments, but not much memories actually.
Good thing will be lucky she's still a siao char Bo now - so at this age, I start to learn to have a sister as a friend.
